Bacteria, Viruses and other germs that are intentionally released to cause destruction and death to animals, people and plants.

  • Anthrax

Immediate signs of biological attacks are not obvious until they are being reported by Health Departments or Hospitals.

Some Biological Disease can be spread person to person, others cannot so being aware is the most effective way to stay safe and plan ahead.

There has been an increase in cyber crime world wide. The risk of cyber attack is real, with countless clicks into cyber space every single day.

 

  • Use caution when opening attachments or clicking on links sent via e-mail.

  • Don't give out personal information via e-mail or the internet.

  • Use strong, secure passwords and do not share them with anyone.

  • Pay close attention to website URLS and look for small misspellings that may be misleading.

  • Always be suspicious and report any unusual activity to your local police department.

We hear about nuclear attacks almost everyday. To protect ourselves from catastrophe, we must understand what a nuclear attack is, and how to stay safe. There is a multitude of ways nuclear attacks can happen, but each one can potentially disburse a profuse amount of radiation. Decrease time spend in radiation areas, stay as far away as possible and create a barrier between yourself and the source.

Common, every day chemicals can be used for terrorist attacks. They threaten human and environmental health. Ways that chemical attacks can affect us

  • Blister & Chemical Burn - appear on skin, irritation and redness.

  • Blood - blocked from cells and tissues cause numerous health ailments (click on photo above to get a full description)

  • Choking - chemical inhalants inhibit inability to take in air

  • Nerves- ingested and capacitate the nervous system

Cyber Safety Part 1

Understanding the current trends in terrorism, as terrorists are constantly working on underhanded tactics in their planned attacks. There is no limit to the type of hazard or destruction that any one attack will have. We must constantly be aware of our surroundings and be prompt in reporting any specious activity to law enforcement.
